We had and outstanding stay here even though a short period of time. The encounters with staff from the start where enjoyable friendly and helpful. The 45min of pool time was well received and enjoyed by all of us however I beleave I had just as much fun as the kids. The room was amazing spacious well equipped homely and warm. Well need that evening as the weather was extremely cold. We didn't get to experience the restaurant however looked very inviting and delicious. We are already looking to return next year for a longer stay if possible and can't wait to get back. Thank you for the experience
Got bought an afternoon tea for Christmas so we booked to have it at The Grove and we were thrilled we did. Really excellent service. Lovely building with lots of places to sit to choose from. The actual food was delicious and my husband got a fresh cheese scone as well which he really enjoyed. It was a lovely afternoon. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea. The 2 staff members that served us were really friendly and attentive. Thank you so much
Located in a rather quiet part of Cromer, surrounded by many trees, buildings are nicely kept in a good state of repairs. The cottage I have rented was amazing! So comfortable, so cozy.... clean, tidy and we felt like being at home. The staff were very kind and open minded, the only little thing we didn't enjoy was the dining room, to conservative ha ha but the breakfast was delicious and there were many other nibbles and treats. Overall, this falls into the category " we'll be visiting again for sure "
We came for a 2 day break in October and pleased with the location which was near the town and beach yet nicely secluded in lovely grounds. Very helpful and friendly service. We were in an outside cottage room which was roomy, clean and comfortable. I can't say anything was outstanding but for the price we have no complaints. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we couldn't take advantage of the outside spaces and I am sure in the Summer it comes into it's own.
We had a two nights stay as a gift. I wouldn’t definitely spend that kind of money if paying myself. We stayed at the Orchard rooms which had a strange muggy smell and looked a bit tired. The whole place seems in need of upgrading. Shocking experience in the swimming pool as it smells of urine very strongly. And not very clean. The breakfast could be better. Just to mention the black pudding and bacon were so dry and hard that I couldn’t eat . We had dinner in the restaurant and again it could be better. The scallops for a starter were cold and tough. The side vegetables were not enough for two people at all. The staff though was nice. And great location. Don’t think we will come again.
Our first time staying here, and it has been the best weekend break I've had, so nice here. From every little detail, on we was greeted and quickly checked in and shown to our room, we stayed in room 11, and be definitely book this again. Entering the room wow very nice, a bottle of bubbles greeted us that was a nice touch. But everything about this room is stunning, from the bathroom lay out to the TV snug room to the massive comfy bed. If your thinking of staying here then think no more, there's plenty to do, a 10 min walk to cromer town, either by the beach walk or via the main Rd, a little woodland to explore, the lighthouse to explore too, and the stunning scenery, thank you The Grove fir looking after us.
Amazing 👏
What a great find, so close we could walk into Cromer and the staff were so friendly and very helpful.
Our Twin room was more than adequate for our one night stay, in fact it was above expectation.
We didn't dine but we did have breakfast and what a treat.
A real jewel of Cromer and we wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend this lovely hotel.
Came for Christmas meal with work colleagues. There was obviously a big event in the garden. The restraunt was almost empty. Sadly the food was really poor, everything was overcooked, especially the stuffing which was like a golf ball. Have been for afternoon tea which was lovely so we were all really disappointed. They did give us money off the bill as everyone sadly complained. Hopefully this was a one off as The Grove is lovely.
